The King’s Observatory, Richmond
The observatory was completed in 1769, in time for King George III's observation of the transit of Venus.
Rupert transformed the Observatory into a celestial canvas, projecting artistic and galactic animations across two façades simultaneously, a worthy technical & artistic achievement. The synchronized projections bathed the wedding celebration in a cosmos of light, merging architecture, astronomy, and storytelling to create an immersive environment where the historic landmark briefly became part of the universe it was built to study.
