Cinecitta ~ Rome

I was invited to illuminate 3 Pantheon temples that surrounded the guest gathering at this high profile wedding in Rome.

The projections twinkled golden during dinner; a glamorous backdrop for the feast.

After dinner, 4 Egyptian servants emerged carrying Cleopatra on a bed of feathers. Guests were encouraged to follow them into one of the temples that became a nightclub.

The Pantheon buildings then came to life with colour and movement.

I used multiple layers of animation, with hundreds of pre rendered clips to create the colourful and sophisticated projected effect, and ultimately enhance the buildings that surrounded the guests.

Rupert was commissioned to illuminate three mock Pantheon-style temples that encircled guests at a wedding celebration in Rome, architectural replicas famously used in the 1963 film Cleopatra.

During dinner, subtle cascades of golden sparkles enhanced the atmosphere with understated elegance, while the after-party introduced vibrant animated visuals, transforming the surrounding structures into a dynamic, immersive setting for the evening’s festivities.
